MBABANE:Zinhle Matsebula, the Director of Lifespan Pharmaceuticals and a suspect in the disappearance of drugs in public hospitals has allegedly uttered racist statements against Dr Echo VanderWal,the Executive Director of the Luke Commission.

Racism is an act of discrimination, undermining and humiliating another human being merely because of his/her skin colour, such babaric act is discouraged by the United Nations(UN) through various Conventions.

The businesswoman shared a Whatsap status where she came hard on the Luke Commission, accusing it of being owned by a white woman and therefore,it should not be supported by Government.

Matsebula is a close ally of Prime Minister(PM) Russell Mmiso Dlamini,a sister to Health Minister Mduduzi Matsebula and part of SwaziPharm Director Kareem Ashraff corrupt syndicate that is fighting the Luke Commission and blocking of the R30million to the Luke Commission approved by Parliament, with an intention to collapse the health institution.

“The Luke Commission is a white woman private clinic. It can’t be funded by the Eswatini Government. There are a lot of black indigenous swazi women that have opened business and during financial struggle, they have never been funded by the Government.TLC now understands that RFM is struggling because there is no money, it’s not because of black leadership. The 30million should fund RFM and all the patients should go there”,reads the status.

Matsebula declined to comment about the status when asked if she supports racism.

The businesswoman’s status was published on Wednesday as Parliament was preparing to table a Select Committee report subsequent to an investigation into a conflict between Government and the Luke Commission.

The report was tabled by Lubombo Regional Member of Parliament(MP) Futhie ‘MaMKhize’ Ngcamphalala, on behalf of the House of Assembly, the Select Committee gave Health Minister Mduduzi Matsebula and Finance Minister Neal Rijikernberg seven(7) days to release the R30million to the Luke Commission or be charged with contempt of Parliament.
