MBABANE:Khangeziwe Mabuza,the Principal Secretary(PS) in the Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Affairs says,she is not resigning from her position.
Responding to this Swaziland News when clarifying information suggesting that,she was considering resigning from her position amid tension with Minister Jane Mkhonta-Simelane,the PS dismissed the allegations.
When asked if she could be quoted in her response,the Principal Secretary said, she “doesn’t have a problem to be publicly seen responding to this journalist and the Swaziland News”, clarifying that,she was not resigning but will continue with her duties to serve the people.
“I don’t have a problem,you can quote me that I responded to you,I am not resigning.Kodvwa ngiyabonga lokutsi ungilume indlebe kutsi sekutsiwa ngi-resignile kusho kutsi kukhona lengphekelwa kona.Mine-ke ngite nalenkinga noma ungangi-quota kutsi ngiphendvulile ngatsi I am not resigning.I am a public servant and I understand that my position is to serve the people”, said the Principal Secretary.
When asked if she was in good terms with the Minister,the PS said,they were working with Minister Jane Mkhonta-Simelane.
“I even survived the recent reshuffle,how can I then resign.But now that this is coming from you, it means there’s something being cooked about me but I am not resigning”, said the PS.
