KWALUSENI:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini has urged Kwaluseni residents to fully participate in the development of their area.

The PM was speaking on Friday when officially opening the renovated Kwaluseni iNkhundla that was burnt during the recent political unrest.

“Tinkhundla Centres are not just infrastructural buildings, but these are duly instituted in section 58 of the Constitution of our Kingdom as the engines of development. All issues that inform the development of the Kwaluseni community must be developed and concretised at the Inkhundla Centre.Collectively, the elected members and electorate of this constituency should engage and consult on broad developmental issues and you must develop your Inkhundla Integrated Development Plan; a plan which will inform the programmes you need to undertake to improve the livelihoods of all under Kwaluseni Inkhundla. You know your needs and priorities and you are best placed to articulate them. It is not justified, therefore, that planning and setting of priorities be left with officials in Mbabane,”‘said the Prime Minister as quoted by Government online platforms.

The event was attended by among others,Tinkhundla Administration and Development Minister Sikhumbuzo Dlamini,Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) Thulisile Dladla, Kwaluseni MP Sifiso Shongwe, Indvuna YeNkhundla Mthunzi Dlamini among other high profile people.

Residents were entertained with cultural activities that include Sibhaxs and Ummiso.
