MBABANE:South African Senior Advocate Myron Dewrance who is representing editor Zweli Martin Dlamini and this Swaziland News says,the then Acting Prime Minister Themba Masuku cannot sue the editor and this publication claiming to be representing King Mswati,Ministers and other members of the royal family as a claim of defamation,requires a person to testify personally to the nature of the injury he/she sustained.
The matter between King Mswati-the eSwatini Government and the editor of this Swaziland News is highly expected to be heard by the Mpumalanga High Court on the 13th August 2024.
The editor submitted that,the court must dismiss the application and order the King and his Government to pay costs of two(2) Advocates representing him and the Swaziland News including a senior Advocate.
