MBABANE:Savannah Maziya,the Minister of Information, Communication and Technology(ICT) has been awarded with the prestigious Lifetime Award for Africa Economy Builders Forum and Awards, Phesheya Dube, the Principal Secretary(PS) formally announced through a press statement on Tuesday afternoon.
“This award is one of the illustrious recognition in Africa.It celebrates the awardees’ contribution to economic development in the continent. It was presented to her on the 04 July,2024, during a grand ceremony held in the Ivory Coast.The Minister was further honored with a Leadership Award on the 11 July 2024 from French African Marketing Association”, reads the statement in part.
The Principal Secretary then congratulated the Minister on behalf of Government and the country for this recognition.
“The Ministry of ICT and the entire Kingdom of Eswatini extend their heartfelt congratulations to Minister Savannah Maziya for these remarkable achievements, which not only honor her personal accomplishment but also solidify her commitment and leadership towards advancing innovation, economic prosperity and promoting collaboration with the Kingdom of Eswatini throughout the world”, said the Principal Secretary.
