MBABANE:Lincoln Motsa, the Director of Ok Foods has been appointed by Commerce, Industry and Trade Minister Mancoba Khumalo as the Chairperson of the Citizens Economic Empowerment Council.
The Council was announced by the Minister on Thursday, other members include Mluleki Dlamini, Thandiwe Hlatjwako, Fanele Mashwama, Sakhile Nsibande, Msutfu Masilela,Ndabenhle Dlamini, Muzi Dlamini,Thulisile Dladla-Dlamini.
Government online platforms reported that, the Council’s mandate includes the development of strategies and programs to support MSMEs, advocacy for policy reforms, and the creation of an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
It will also be responsible for tracking the impact of the act, identifying challenges, and recommending necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement and effectiveness.
