MACETJENI:Chief Mshengu, the son to the late Prince Maguga allegedly grabbed land belonging to the grandchildren of Prince Mbilini, the son of King Mswati II.
Menzi Shongwe was allocated land by the Chief through his Indvuna Sipho Mamba, Shongwe paid a cow to Mshengu after claiming to have purchased the land from a child within the house of Njobo Dlamini, the grandson of Prince Mbilini with thirty-five thousand Rands(R35,000.00).
The matter is pending before court after the elders of the family questioned uMphakatsi how a child was allowed to sell a piece of land within the premises of the home and without uMphakatsi demanding to confirm with elders.
Prince Mbilini(not former Prime Minister) was one of the eldest sons of King Mswati II, he had about five(5) households and these include Embongweni, Endonda(Kusuka) where Njobo Dlamini whose land has been grabbed by the Chief originates.
Other households of King Mswati II’s son Prince Mbilini include eHlobane where Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini originates, eMehlweni and eNsuka.
Chief Prince Mshengu who is currently grabbing land from powerless citizens including descendants of the royal family, is defending the matter in court through his Indvuna Sipho Mamba.
Prince Mbilini was the eldest son of King Mswati II,he was born from the first wife Inkhosikati LaMakhasiso Dvuba.
On the other hand, Chief Mshengu’s father Prince Maguga, the son of King Sobhuza who was once a Crown Prince, grabbed Macetjeni and KaMkhweli from Chief Mtfuso and Mndeli Fakudze and demanded that, King Mswati III must compensate him as he was supposed to be a King.
