SIKHUPHE:Nomcebo Zuma,the daughter to former South African President Jacob Zuma appeared in public wearing uMkhonto WesiZwe(MK) Party designed dress at the Sikhuphe Airport when bidding farewell to the King.
The King traveled to Rwanda, Uganda, Zimbabwe and the United Arab Emirates(UAE) on Sunday night.
Nomcebo Zuma is a Liphovela to the King and, as reported by this Swaziland News earlier, she is highly expected to be married by King Mswati.
Liphovela is a siSwati word meaning a girlfriend to the King who is yet to be officially married to the Monarch, thereafter, Liphovela is referred to as “Inkhosikati”.
On another note, eSwatini is an absolute Monarchy, political parties are banned and citizens wearing t-shirts belonging to their political organizations are arrested, tortured or killed by the police.
Sipho Jele, a member of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) was allegedly killed by the police merely for wearing a PUDEMO t-shirt, this was after King Mswati issued an order suggesting that, members of political parties must be strangled to death.
