MBABANE:Senator Stukie Motsa has praised King Mswati for signing the Southern African Development Community(SADC) Declaration Declaration on the Protection of Persons with Albinism.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Sunday evening, the Senator who advocates for the rights of Persons with Albinism said, the King demonstrated commitment to protect human rights including the rights of Persons with Albinism by signing the Declaration.
“That the King signed without being forced was a clear demonstration of commitment to see a society where human rights are protected. He could have decided not to sign but because he is concerned with the rights of Persons with Albinism and other citizens, he signed, “sekhuta Lwandle”, said the Senator when interviewed by editor Zweli Martin Dlamini who asked her to comment about the signing of the Declaration.
On another note,the Senator was appointed into Parliament by the King and advocates for the rights of Persons with Albinism.
The King signed the Declaration during the recently held SADC Summit in Zimbabwe.
