UBU DHABI:Mancoba Khumalo, the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade met with United Arab Emirates(UAE) officials on Tuesday to discuss trade and tax issues.
The Commerce Ministers, as reported by Government online platforms, was with Finance Minister Neal Rijikernberg and Foreign and International Cooperation Minister Pholile Dlamini-Shakantu,an agreement was then signed.
“The meeting, which took place at the UAE Ministry of Finance offices in Abu Dhabi, was also attended by Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority CEO Sibani Mngomezulu, Eswatini\'s Ambassador to the UAE Sifiso Dlamini, Counsellor Nonhlanhla Dlamini and Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Zandile Dlamini.This agreement seeks to, among other things, promote the flow of mutual promotion and facilitation of Investment in order to strengthen and intensify the economic cooperation. A joint committee on investment will be created, meeting once a year in either Eswatini or the UAE”, reads the Government online report.
