MBABANE:Zweli Martin Dlamini, the editor of this Swaziland News said Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini was never elected by the people and doesn’t know how the ballot box looks like, hence the ongoing attempts to evade accountability.
The editor was speaking to the South African Broadcasting Corporation(SABC) Channel Africa radio on Tuesday, when asked to share his views regarding the tension between the PM and the media particularly,Nation Magazine editor Bheki Makhubu.
Dlamini said the PM always will evade accountability and avoid hard questions from the media because he was never elected by the people hence he doesn’t see any need to account, on issues of public interest.
On another note, the editor told SABC that,the current regime “is an unelected Government” that censors the media and force journalists to report positively so that, it can look democratic in the eyes of the international community.
