MBABANE:The World Bank has donated R13million to purchase new Ambulances amid the ongoing health crisis in this tiny Kingdom of eSwatini.
The Ambulances will be distributed to the various health facilities across the country that include Matsanjeni Health Centre, Nhlangano Health Centre, Sithobela Health Centre, Emkhuzweni Health Centre, Dvokolwako Health Centre, Hlathikhulu Government Hospital, Mankayane Government Hospital and Pigg's Peak Government Hospital.
Government online platforms reported on Tuesday that, the Ambulances were distributed by Health Minister Mduduzi Matsebula.
Eswatini is now relying on foreign aid to fund the health system that was allegedly collapsed by rampant corruption in the public administration.
