LOBAMBA:Sicelo ‘KhungaNkhosi’ Dlamini, the Mayiwane Member of Parliament(MP) is highly expected to move an urgent motion, calling upon Public Service Minister Mabulala Maseko to explain the delay in the implementation of Phase two(2), a program seeking to increase salaries for security officers including the police.
The motion will be moved in Parliament on Wednesday and is highly expected to be seconded by Deputy Speaker Honorable Madala Mhlanga.
“To move that the Hon. Minister for Public Service explain to this Hon. House what is delaying him in implementing phase 2 for Junior Security Officers as phase 1 was implemented without any problem”, said the Mayiwane MP in the Order Paper that is already before Speaker Jabulani ‘Buy Cash’ Mabuza.
In the Order Paper, the Mayiwane MP, a former police officer, stated that, the delay has caused emotional stress for the security officers who are the beneficiaries.
“The matter is now 10 years old and have brought emotional stress to the beneficiaries”, the MP said in the Order Paper.
