MBABANE:His Excellency Dr. Patrice Talla, the Sub-Regional Coordinator for Southern Africa and Representative in Zimbabwe, Lesotho and Eswatini met Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini on Monday at the Cabinet Offices in Mbabane.
The PM and the FOA Regional Coordinator discussed among others, food security, possible support for a food systems transformation programme and towards our Gene bank, climate finance and the establishment of a fully-fledged FAO representation in Eswatini,Government online platforms reported.
The FAO Regional Coordinator had an opportunity to engage the PM on the recently delivered Government Policy Statement that highlighted among others, the need to introduce resilient agricultural systems.
