MBABANE:Percy Simelane,the King’s Spokesperson has sent a message of condolences to royal family, eMbelebeleni residents and the Nation following the death of eMbelebeleni Chief Prince Gcokoma.
Responding to this Swaziland News on Sunday,the King’s Spokesperson said, the Chief was brainworker with magnetic personality.
“To some of us who were lucky enough to work closely with him as a Regional Administrator, Minister for Home Affairs,Member of the Supreme Council of State and Senator,Prince Gcokoma was a man for all seasons. The community of Embelebeleni has not only lost a Chief but a father who worked for everyone’s survival like a slave in his area. In him, Eswatini has lost an enviable brain worker with a magnetic personality. The five-men team that was tasked with looking into a vote of no confidence preferred by Parliament against ex-Prime Minister Dr Sibusiso Barnabas Dlamini, included Prince Gcokoma.The team succeeded saving Dr Dlamini from expulsion on technical grounds. A giant has fallen and Eswatini shall never be consoled”, said the King’s Spokesperson.
Chief Prince Gcokoma was buried this weekend,he was a Senator at the time of his death.
