MBABANE: Eswatini Army Commander Lieutenant General Mashikilisane Fakudze failed to respond when asked by this Swaziland News, if eSwatini soldiers will assist its diplomatic ally Taiwan amid a looming war with China.
This comes after Aljazeera, quoting a statement from the Taiwan Ministry of Defense reported on Tuesday, alleging that one hundred and fifty-three(153) aircraft were seen surrounding Taiwan territory as China carried out massive military exercises.
China has been thretening to take over Taiwan, an Island recognized by the United Nations(UN) as a Province of the People’s Republic of China(PRC).
