LOBAMBA:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini walked out of Parliament on Thursday amid the ongoing hot debate, regarding the salary increment for State police officers under Phase two(2).
This comes after MP Marwick Khumalo asked him “who think he is to tell Members of Parliament(MPs) how to debate in Parliament”.
But another MP who spoke to Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini after the hot debate said, some MPs were already plotting to remove the Prime Minister through a vote of no confidence.
“We will flood him with critical motions so that he can become angry and ‘explode’. This country is struggling with no service delivery but when speak we are accused of inciting. Wangatenti letintfo lesitsi akatente sitamshaya nge-vote of no confidence ngoba sesivile nekutsi iNkhosi ayisamfuni seyimbonile lokutsi he can’t lead Cabinet mane seyisaba lesive nje kutsi sitawutsi wabeka umuntfu longalungi sisole yona leNkhosi, ngoba phela utsandza kubekwa. Tsine-ke Inkhosi sitayibekela penalty bese yona ifike ishaya net. Kutawuba lula uma iNkhosi seyitsi kusho iPhalamende kutsi akacoshe Ndvunankhulu, silungisa yona le-penalty, usedzelele kakhulu itolo waphuma wahamba walingisa lentfo layenta nakabutwa bo-Bheki Makhubu, watsi he will walk out when asked critical questions”, said the MP who cannot be named for ethical reasons.
On another note, Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini warned MPs against inciting police officers by pushing the issue of their salary increment, this did not go down well with MPs, particularly Marwick Khumalo who told the PM that MPs have a right to discuss issues affecting the electorate.
