MBABANE:Sergeant Dumsile Khumalo, the Secretary General of the Royal Eswatini Police Service Staff Association(REPOSA) has confirmed that, junior police officers have called a mass meeting at SNAT Centre-Manzini on Saturday, to discuss Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini’s decision not to award the officers their deserved salary increment under Phase two(2).
This comes after this Swaziland News reported that, the PM told the junior police officers to back-off and forget about a salary increment, the decision that undermined a Parliament resolution, was communicated during a meeting at the Cabinet Offices on Monday.
Reached for comments on Wednesday evening, Sergeant Khumalo urged all junior cops to attend in their numbers.
“I can confirm that,we will hold a meeting at SNAT Centre on Saturday to discuss a way-forward”, she said.
