EZULWINI:Vusi Dlamini, the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the Eswatini Tourism Authority(EEA) welcomed a Triland team from Mpumalanga-South Africa and Mozambique as part of the ongoing tourism promotion initiative.
Triland is a tourism concept which involves these three(3) countries, it was launched in Mozambique-Polana Hotel in an event that was attended by Tourism Ministers from these countries.
Macford Sibandze, the then Eswatini Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs was among those who facilitated the Triland concept at political level that is now benefiting these countries, others include Fernando Sumbana Jr from Mozambique and Norman Mokoena, the then Mpumalanga Tourism Minister.
The Triland concept that is now uniting the three(3) countries, is about promoting tourism including facilitating the establishment of common tourism policies.
It is aimed at making visitors enjoy tourism experiences unique to each of the three countries in one route over a period of 24 hours or more.
Eswatini is renowned for its culture and festivities, Mozambique is known for its beaches and vibrant nightlife, while Mpumalanga is known for its wildlife in Kruger National Park and also the breathtaking natural landscape.
