MBABANE: Lomvula Hlophe, eSwatini the Director of Public Prosecutions(DPP)ran to court on Monday morning seeking an order, declaring an appeal by Kiernan Forbes(AKA) murder suspects academic after Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini signed an extradition order,seeking to surrender the suspects to the South African law enforcement agencies.
Siyabonga Gezani Ndimande and Malusi Dave Ndimande were arrested in Mahwalala, in the outskirts of the capital city of eSwatini-Mbabane in connection with the murder of the South African rapper, the suspects are highly expected to be extradited to the Republic of South Africa in terms of an extradition treaty between the two(2) countries.
The DPP told the court that, the appeal filed by the suspects against an extradition court judgement, “is now academic as the PM has already signed the order”.
