Newly established Mgazini Anti-Corruption Council stops Prince Sicunusa from illegally selling land,Chief destroyed Park constructed by Government next to the road and sold land to Bucopho.

MGAZINI:Themba Motsa,a member of the newly established Mgazini Anti Corruption Council has stopped Chief Prince Sicunusa from allocating land to Bucopho BeNkhundla Sibusiso Dlamini next to the road.

The Mgazini Anti Corruption Council was formed by senior residents of the area to deal with the Chief who “is allegedly selling land illegally, Prince Sicunusa allegedly destroyed a Park constructed by Government and sold the land to Bucopho.

But on Wednesday, the Council visited the Park where Bucopho was constructing his house next to the road and, told the employed constructors to leave the place with immediate effect.

“Take all your working tools and leave this place, this land does not belong to the Chief but it’s a King’s land. This Park was constructed by Government not only for the Mgazini residents but for all emaSwati who might wish to rest and relax here while passing around our area”, said the member of the Mgazini Anti Corruption Council.

Efforts to seek a comment from Chief Prince Sicunusa proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.

On another note, the Mgazini Anti Corruption Council has helped many residents whose land was grabbed by the Chief, this include widows and orphans.
