MBABANE:Felicia Dlamini-Kunene has been re-appointed as the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Eswatini(CBE), the financial institution announced through a statement released on Wednesday evening.
Dlamini has been re-appointed by Finance Minister Neal Rijikernberg who was acting on recommendations from the Board of Directors.
“The Minister of Finance, Neal Rijikernberg has approved the re-appointment of Ms. Felicia Dlamini-Kunene as Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Eswatini(CBE),following a recommendation from the CBE Board of Directors. Her new contract comes into effect on 1 December 2024, and is for a fixed term of five years, succeeding her current term, which expires on 30 November 2024”, reads the statement in part.
Governor Phile Dr, Phil Mnisi congratulated the Deputy Governor on behalf of the Board of Directors.
“We look forward to her immense contribution as we work together to implement and drive the Bank’s mandate”, said the Governor.
