MBABANE:Mbongwa Dlamini,the President of the Swaziland National Association of Teachers(SNAT) has returned back to work after winning an unlawful dismissal court case against Government.
Dlamini went back to Moyeni High School on Monday after Judge Zonke Magagula ruled that,he must be reinstated and that,Government must pay even outstanding salaries from the date of the unlawful dismissal.
Speaking to this Swaziland News,Lot Vilakati,the SNAT Secretary General confirmed that, the influential unionist reported back to work on Monday.
“We accompanied him back to work as per the court order and, we are preparing to collect a written document from the Teaching Service Commission(TSC), officially allowing him back to class”, said the SNAT Secretary General.
On another note,the SNAT leadership, unionists and political activists that include former SNAT vibrant President Sibongile Mazibuko, Deputy President of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) Wandile Dludlu and other political leaders were in court on Friday to support the persecuted SNAT President.
Judge Zonke Magagula condemned the unlawful dismissal of the trade unionist, SNAT President Mbongwa Dlamini was represented by prominent lawyer Lucky Howe.
