Principal Secretary Khanya Mabuza engages Taiwan Ministry of Health,to collaborate in improving health system in eSwatini.

MBABANE:Khanya Mabuza,the Principal Secretary(PS) in the Ministry of Health is in Taiwan engaging with health professionals on possible collaborations to improve the healthcare system in eSwatini.

The PS traveled with Principal Planning Officer(PPO) Mvuselelo Sicelo Dlamini and, they engaged various organizations on health issues including being equipped on how to manage the health system.

Taiwan health online platforms reported on Saturday that, during their visit,the delegation toured several institutions including Taiwan’s Ministry of Health and Welfare, National Taiwan University Hospital, NTU Hospital Hsin-Chu Branch, Changhua Ershui Township Health Center, Golden Smart home Technology Corp., Dr. Po-Wen Chiang’s Clinic, Taiwan Association of Diabetes Educators, Taiwan Diabetes Health Education Association, and Sinyi Elementary School. 

“They gained insights into how Taiwan integrates government, hospital and community resources to combat chronic diseases.They were particularly impressed by Taiwan’s application of smart healthcare and grassroots education to the promotion of healthy lifestyles in communities. At the final summary meeting, the delegation praised Taiwan’s healthcare and education systems and expressed their commitment to adopting these valuable insights to create a healthier and brighter future for the people of Eswatini”, reads the online report in part.
