MBABANE:Eswatini High Court Judge Sabelo Masuku has dismissed an urgent application filed by Lomvula Hlophe, the Director of Public Prosecutions(DPP) seeking to deny suspects in the murder of Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes, their right to appeal an extradition order.
Siyabonga Gezani Ndimande and Malusi Dave Ndimande filed an appeal after the Magistrate Court ruled that, they must be extradited to South Africa to face the aforementioned alleged crime.
But the DPP filed an urgent counter application seeking to declare that, the murder suspects’ appeal has been overtaken by events as Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini “has already signed the extradition order”.
Judge Sabelo Masuku, the former Chairperson of the Eswatini Human Rights Commission dismissed the DPP’s urgent application on Friday.
