MBABANE:King Mswati is alleged to be regretting after he took some wrong decisions and dismissed some of his loyalists holding powerful positions based on mere gossip.
This was revealed by a royal insider very close to the King who was speaking to Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini on Monday afternoon, the insider said the King “is regretting that some of his loyalists are no longer working with him after he expelled them without evidence.
“The King even mentioned your name and Buy Cash, he said some people approach him saying “umbocaphela Ngwenyama lona ukhuluma na-Zwemart”. Yaze yatsi ngoba sihlobene kakhulu lelive lincane ungabacedza nini bantfu labakhuluma na-Zwemart?. He then made an example about Parliament Speaker ‘Buy Cash’ saying despite the issues about Bacede, you cannot then say just because the Speaker is a brother to Bacede he must be persecuted. He said ‘Buy Cash’ holds his own politically views and he cannot therefore listen to people who say “Be careful of ‘Buy Cash’ Ngwenyama he is a brother to Bacede”. Remember, when he spoke in that video saying people who lie are more convincing, this was after he spoke to me. He said he knows many people next to him who are friends and speak with Zwemart but he doesn’t have any problem because those people holds their own political views it’s just that, they are close to him and Zwemart. The King spoke in a very regretting voice saying if he could listen to all the lies, he might find himself expelling all the people next to him without evidence, utsi badlale ngaye kakhulu bamyenga bafuna acoshe bantfu, wabacosha labanye watisola muva sekatfole liciniso kutsi lomuntfu lamcoshile bebamcalela emanga,” the insider when speaking to the editor.
Worth-noting, the King recently spoke about lies during the previous Good Friday Services when addressing Pastors, he said people who lie “are more convincing” yet they will mislead you.
“Liars are very convincing,they speak sweet words such that you can even believe them only to find that you are being misled”, said the King.
The King previously dismissed Liqoqo member Mathendele Dlamini and others based on lies uttered by Jabulani Nxumalo, the then Deputy Secretary General(SG) of the Swaziland Federation of Trade Unions(SFTU).
Nxumalo told the Times and further influenced others to inform the King that Dlamini was reviving Imbokodvo with an intention to topple the Monarch from his Throne.
Mathendele Dlamini, a loyalist of the Tinkhundla system, was subsequently reinstated by the King and appointed into the Ludzidzini Council after years in the political wilderness.
But another royal insider told the editor of this publication that, before dismissing his cattle overseer Macaleni Dlamini for allegedly stealing his cattle, the King first conducted his own investigation to verify the information.
“After receiving numerous reports and information that Macaleni was stealing his cattle. One day he sent him to deliver his “tetfulo” cattle at Tibiyo Dalcrue Farm and, ordered one security officer to secretly drive with a different car and follow the truck from Ludzidzini to Malkerns. Macaleni was pictured diverting the truck to deliver some of the cows somewhere before driving to Malkerns.He then asked him how many cows he delivered at Malkerns and Macaleni lied to the King who already had all the information. Wavele watsi kani bacinisile kutsi uyaganga, he then dismissed him,” said the insider who spoke to editor Zweli Martin Dlamini.
