MBABANE:Sherwin Charles,the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Goobye Malaria has applauded eSwatini for taking the lead in the fight against Malaria.

The Good Bye Malaria CEO was interviewed by SAfm, a South African Broadcasting Corporation(SABC) Radio Station on Wednesday evening during the Meeting Point Program.

SAfm invited Sherwin to unpack and analyze the World Malaria Report 2024 released by the World Health Organization(WHO),the report applauded eSwatini for successfully implementing WHO measures to eradicate malaria.

Throughout the program, the eSwatini’s  success story in fighting Malaria as highlighted in the WHO report, was the main topic.

“Eswatini managed to implement WHO measures and worked on their data to eradicate Malaria”, said the Good Bye Malaria CEO when asked by the SABC Presenter what other countries could learn from the eSwatini success story.

Sherwin said, eSwatini “is fast reaching the zero malaria”, achievement adding that other Southern African countries could learn from the measures implemented by the Kingdom.
