PRIME MINISTER:Junior police officers to receive a salary increment together with all civil servants after ongoing salary review process, Government appreciates role of security officers.

MBABANE:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini has assured junior police and Correctional Services officers that, they will receive a salary increment together with all civil servants after the ongoing salary review process.

The PM touched on this issue of the widely reported junior security officers salary increment under Phase two(2) when delivering the Government Performance Report at the Cabinet Offices on Friday.

“The Government appreciates the service of security forces and the entire public service. A salary review exercise was commissioned for the entire public service. During this exercise, the contentious Phase II was thoroughly interrogated and will be addressed at the conclusion of the exercise. The salary review exercise is on course and due for completion in 2025 in line with the terms of reference,” said the Prime Minister.
