MBABANE:Nana Akufo-Addo, the outgoing President of Ghana has announced the removal of VISA restrictions for eSwatini and all African countries, the British Broadcasting Corporation(BBC) reported on Friday.
“Ghana has declared visa-free entry for all African passport holders, set to take effect in January 2025.Outgoing President Nana Akufo-Addo announced the decision during his final State of the Nation Address in parliament on Friday. This initiative aims to enhance economic integration by facilitating the free movement of people, goods, and services across the continent, in line with the objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA)”, reads the BBC report.
