MBABANE:Prince Magudvulela, the Chief of Ntfonjeni in the Hhohho region was rushed to the Mbabane Government Hospital on Wednesday in a critical condition, he was breathing with oxygen support machinery.
The Prince, according to royal insiders is facing persecution amid an alleged plot to remove him as Chief by a powerful royal faction led by King’s Praise Singer Sigombeni Qethuka Dlamini.
“He was breathing with oxygen since admission on the 1st January 2025 but now, he is slowly gaining speech, sewuyakhuluma sewuyacoca”, said an insider very close to the Chief when speaking to this publication on Saturday night.
When this Swaziland News contacted Prince Mabandla,the member of the Liqoqo King’s Advisory Council and senior Prince in the Royal House of Prince Magudvulela, he confirmed that the Chief was rushed to Mbabane Government.
“It’s true Nkhosi but he is recovering, sewuba ncono”, said the senior Prince.
On another note,the Chief was banned from entering Royal Palaces allegedly by Mswati but King’s Spokesperson Percy Simelane when responding to this publication earlier, vigorously denied that the King was involved in the persecution of the Chief.
