MBABANE: Sonke Dube, the President of Swaziland Youth Congress (SWAYOCO)has implored young people to come together in the fight for a democratic Swaziland.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Tuesday, the SWAYOCO President said young people should put aside their political affiliations, come together and share ideas on how they can liberate the country from the Tinkhundla system.
\"The battle we are facing should not look like a competition among ourselves, there should be no one who want to look better than others instead in politics what is needed is unity in fighting the enemy and liberating the oppressed masses,\" he said.
He said if young people and political parties are divided they will present the oppressors an opportunity to further oppress them for many years to come. \"We are not in politics just because of our political parties but we are in politics because we want to help those who are oppressed. In doesn\'t matter if they are in politics or not. To achieve the freedom we want it require all of us in the different political organizations to open our hands and work together with trust,\" said Dube.
