MBABANE:Sibane Mngomezulu, the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority(EIPA) has applauded Commerce, Industry and Trade Minister Mancoba Khumalo for his efforts in promoting sustainable businesses.
Speaking during the Special New Year’s Luncheon on Friday, the CEO further thanked the Minister for his guidance, he urged him to put more effort even this year in implementing projects that are on the pipeline.
Mvuselelo Fakudze, the Business Eswatini President and Standard Bank Eswatini Chief Executive who was also present during the event, called for strengthened collaboration between Government, the relevant parastatals and the private sector in creating sustainable jobs.
On another note, Minister Mancoba Khumalo pledged to prioritize businesses within the Small and Medium Enterprise(SME) sector saying, this sector remains “a key driver in sustainable economic growth and development”.
