MBABANE:Welcome Dlamini, the Mbabane East Member of Parliament(MP) says his former employer Paul Loffler of the Times of eSwatini bought him land in Mbabane to demonstrate appreciation for his work but, subsequently grabbed it after he resigned to join politics.
Addressing journalists during an Elective Conference at Happy Valley Hotel on Saturday, the former President of the Eswatini National Association of Journalists(SNAJ) said, he worked for the Times for many years but left with nothing.
“I am asking myself; if I was not elected an MP, how would my life be now?. This should be a lesson to you journalists that you must strengthen this organization and address issues impacting your welfare”, he said.
It has been disclosed that, the land that the Times boss purchased for Dlamini who was working as an editor of the Weekend Edition, was valued at three hundred and fifty thousand Rands(R350,000.00).
