MBABANE:Thembinkhosi Dlamini, the Executive Director of the Coordinating Assembly of Non Governmental Organizations(CANGO) says, the Executive Order signed by United States(US) President Donald Trump halting donor funding, will affect even poor emaSwati in the rural areas.
Speaking to this Swaziland News Visionary Perspective Program hosted by human rights defender Velaphi Mamba on Sunday, Dlamini said, some emaSwati in the rural areas have never seen Government and they were using these donor funds for subsistence farming.
“Some citizens in the rural areas have never seen Government but with the presence of NGOs they were receiving services including money for subsistence“, he said.
