SIPHOCOSINI:Sikakadza Matsebula,the former Parliament Speaker and current Siphocosini Indvuna has died, Chief Prince Jabhane informed members of the Inner Council(Bandlancane) on Sunday morning.
It has been disclosed that, Matsebula attended uMphakatsi community meeting on Saturday, looking fine and healthy only to die a few hours later, a member of the Inner Council told this publication.
“It’s true, we were informed by the Chief this morning”, he said.
Reached for comments by this Swaziland News, Phesheya Hlatswako, the former Motshane Member of Parliament(MP) and a resident of Siphocosini confirmed the death of the Indvuna.
“We are deeply saddened by the death of our Indvuna who was working closely with Prince Chief Jabhane and was treating all residents equally.Yesterday(Saturday), I was in a community meeting, he was there looking fine and healthy”, said the former MP.
It is alleged that, after the community meeting, the former Speaker attended a party at home and was offered Buganu traditional beer to drink and soon thereafter, he subsequently became critically sick and died a few hours later.
