MBABANE:”I don’t care, you can take my pictures”.

These were the arrogant words of Assistant Superintendent Nuro Ntibane who was leading a group of eSwatini rouge police officers, who assaulted Lot Vilakati, the Secretary General of the Swaziland National Association of Teachers(SNAT) inside the Ministry of Education Offices on Tuesday afternoon.

Vilakati had gone to the Offices of the Teaching Service Commission(TSC) to demand the salary of SNAT President Mbongwa Dlamini, he was assaulted together with other Executive members of the teachers organization.

Mbongwa Dlamini was reinstated by the court after being unlawfully dismissed by the TSC but, Government defied the court order and refused to release outstanding salaries due to the SNAT President.

Court orders are defied with impunity in eSwatini particularly, if they are against the Government and,Judges are intimidated to rule in favour of the State.
