BUHLENI:King Mswati has announced a ‘new’ public holiday in recognition of the annual Buganu Ceremony.
Addressing thousands of Lutsango women at Buhleni Royal Residence on Saturday night, the King first thanked the women for upholding cultural values.
“As you don’t have any holiday, today I am honoring you with a holiday. We will use the King Sobhuza holiday as Lutsango holiday with immediate effect. This means in our next gathering at Hlane Royal Residence, the Monday of that weekend will be a public holiday”, said the King.
