MALINDZA:Xolani Maseko, a police officer based at the Operational Support Services Union(OSSU) has warned that, he might be forced to take the law into his own hands against Chief Ndlondlo Tsabedze of Malindza.

The OSSU police officer previously contacted Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini asking to be interviewed so that, he can vent his frustration about the persecution he was subjected to at Malindza Royal Kraal by the Chief and his Inner Council(Bandlancane).

Maseko subsequently forwarded an audio to the Malindza community Whatsap Group, blasting the Chief and his other traditional leaders.

“I was accused of being a thief, stealing goats belonging to the community members. At some point I was harassed publicly and my goats were grabbed despite a clear explanation that those goats were mine and I had evidence which I then produced that the goats were actually mine. But thereafter, I was summoned by uMphakatsi and told to leave the area because I’m a thief, I was evicted and refused to go because I was born here. I told uMphakatsi to wait for the police to conduct their own investigation and thereafter, the truth came out suggesting that, the goats were mine, no one is coming back to me now to apologize. Even the Chief who humiliated me publicly demanding to know why I was seen at Malindza because I was evicted, is not coming back to apologize, instead everyone now is denying that, I was evicted at Malindza. The truth is; I was evicted at Malindza but I refused to go because I was born here and I knew that the truth will eventually come out,” he said.

Efforts to seek a comment from former Deputy National Police Commissioner Sipho Dlamini, the Malindza Indvuna proved unsuccessful as his phone rang unanswered.

On another note, Maseko said he was trained at OSSU to be ‘evil’ against other human beings but, the training also involved some tactics to suppress the evil thoughts.

“That’s why I’ve been quiet since 2017 yet inside my heart, I am very bitter against the Chief and his Inner Council.Despite being trained,I don’t know how long will I be able to suppress the evil thought against the Chief and the members of the Inner Council if the Chief refuses to apologize for what he did to me.I was humiliated and I can feel that I’m not myself, I’m very bitter and angry,” he said.
