MBABANE:Kareem Ashraff, the powerful,influential and politically connected SwaziPharm Director allegedly invaded the Offices of Chief Justice Bheki Maphalala to report and harass Judge John Magagula who delivered an unfavorable judgment with costs against one of his companies, senior judicial officers told this Swaziland News this week.

The judicial officers close to the CJ independently confirmed that, Ashraff literally insulted John Magagula, labelling him a “crippled Judge”. 

“That crippled Judge, you see that crippled Judge”, Ashraff allegedly said when shouting within the Chambers of the Chief Justice where he had gone to report the Judge.

But part of the information cannot be revealed to protect our sources at the High Court who managed to obtain the information.

The SwaziPharm Director declined to comment about the matter and avoided this publication, while efforts to seek a comment from Chief Justice Bheki Maphalala, proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.

It has been disclosed that, Judge John Magagula delivered a judgment against a company with links to Ashraff, the name of the company cannot be revealed as this might give Ashraff an idea who leaked the information.
