MBABANE:Sicelo ‘KhungaNkhosi’ Dlamini, the Mayiwane Member of Parliament(MP) reminded Public Service Minister Mabulala Maseko that, Parliament resolved that all civil servants who reached the retirement age of sixty(60) must go home.

Speaking in Parliament on Tuesday, the vibrant MP reminded the Public Service Minister that, there’s nothing special about the civil servants who reached the retirement age and therefore, they must just go home so that, other young emaSwati can secure jobs in Government.

“There’s nothing special about the civil servants who reached the retirement age, they must just go home and open job opportunities for others. In fact even myself as an MP of Mayiwane, there’s nothing special about me, someone can become an MP at Mayiwane and perhaps perform far better than me. So what is so special about the civil servants who are being awarded new employment contracts?. What is it that they are doing which cannot be done by young people who are looking for jobs in Government?”, the MP wondered.

The MP had previously warned that he will disclose names of civil servants who are refusing to retire.
