MBABANE:Thembinkhosi Dlamini, the Executive Director of the Coordinating Assembly of Non Governmental Organizations(NGOs) has confirmed to this Swaziland News that, the closure of various Non Governmental Organizations(NGOs) subsequent to the canceled United States(US) donor funding, will affect even businesses in the country.

It has been disclosed that, the hospitality industry will also experience a decline in revenue as most NGOs were hosting workshops in Hotels and Guest Houses.

“The cancellation of the funding will not only affect NGOs but even businesses,” said the CANGO Executive Director.

The United States Agency for International Development(USAID) wrote to various NGOs last week terminating donor funding, a decision that will trigger job losses in eSwatini.

CANGO Director said, the funding “amounts to R1.3billion” and this means even the Eswatini Revenue Service will experience a decline in collected revenue.
