MBABANE:Peter Samora Simelane, the Eswatini Med Chief Executive Officer(CEO) has been reported to the police for threatening to shoot and kill Interim Board Chairperson Bheki Maziya.

Simelane is alleged to have made the threats after being served with a suspension letter amid tension within the country’s largest medical scheme.

The matter involving the CEO is pending before court as Simelane challenges the legitimacy of the Board that suspended him.

The CEO previously told this Swaziland News that, Montigny Investments Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Andrew Le-Roux was behind the plot to remove him and, using Business Eswatini(BE) to create tension within Governing Board.

Simelane further alleged that, Le-Roux wanted to buy the multimillion Ezulwini Private Hospital and after learning that he won’t succeed, made efforts to remove him.

But Andrew Le-Roux, the Montigny CEO when responding to this publication, vigorously denied that, he wanted to buy the Ezulwini hospital owned by ESwatini Med.

On the other hand, the Board of Directors led by Bheki Maziya accuses Simelane of corruption and/or refusal to account for public funds.
