Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) Thulisile Dladla visits vulnerable households at Mpolonjeni Inkhundla, to build new houses for the poor as commissioned by King Mswati.

MPOLONJENI:Thulisile Dladla, the Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) visited vulnerable households at Mpolonjeni Inkhundla, she will soon commence the building of houses as commissioned by King Mswati, Government online platforms reported on Wednesday evening.

“The Inkhundla council had previously identified 15 families across the constituency in dire need of housing, prompting the DPM to visit and witness their living conditions first hand .Many of these vulnerable families live in dilapidated homes, some on the verge of collapse-especially those built with sticks and mud. Others reside in structures with rotting corrugated iron sheets that leak when it rains, while some live in grass-thatched homes that have aged and no longer provide adequate protection from the elements,” reads the online report in part.

The DPM was accompanied by officials Deputy Prime MInister's Office and National Disaster Management Agency.
