REVEALED:Police Anti Stock Theft boss Assistant Inspector Bongani Vilakati to face criminal charges, allegedly colluded with arrested Macaleni Dlamini in stealing cattle belonging to emaSwati using King Mswati’s name.

SITEKI:Assistant Inspector Bongani Sicelo ‘Duluba’ Vilakati, the Police Anti Stock Theft Unit boss might soon face criminal charges for allegedly colluding with Macaleni Dlamini in stealing cattle belonging to emaSwati using King Mswati’s name.

The police investigation file seen by this Swaziland News journalist suggest that Assistant Inspector Vilakati was colluding with the said Macaleni Dlamini, abusing his position as the officer of the law by legitimizing “the grabbing of cattle as Macaleni was acting on lawful orders from His Majesty the King”.

Both Macaleni Dlamini and the senior police officer are owning large herd of cattle stolen from emaSwati and the cattle might be seized as paraded as exhibits.

Assistant Inspector Vilakati declined to comment about the allegations, he was transferred from Lubombo Regional Headquarters to Sigodvweni Police Station in the midst of the vigorous police investigations.

But according to information seen by this publication, Assistant Inspector Vilakati might be apprehended anytime by the police to face the criminal charges with his alleged partner in crime Macaleni Dlamini, the former cattle overseer in the King’s Office who is currently behind bars.
