MBABANE:Pholile Dlamini-Shakantu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation says eSwatini remains a peaceful country in the African continent.
Addressing the African Union-European Union(EU) Ministerial Meeting this week, the Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister said, it’s part of eSwatini culture to be peaceful.
“Our people are often described as a peace-loving Nation, where fostering a peaceful environment is woven into the very fabric of our culture and unique governance system.It is our tradition to seek harmony and understanding”, said the Foreign Affairs Minister.
On another note, the Minister applauded the support from the European Union in supporting development projects in eSwatini.
“We hold the European Union in high regard as a partner and stakeholders in peacekeeping efforts, we seek to convey a crucial message, that there is immense value in recognizing and understanding Africa as a continent rich in diversity of people, cultures, and traditions”, she said.
