MBABANE:His Excellency Henrik Franklin, the United Nations Development Program(UNDP) Resident Representative is highly expected to deliver the Eswatini Human Development Report(HDR) at the Kwaluseni University of Eswatini(UNESWA) Campus on Thursday.
According to information sent to this Swaziland News by the UNDP, the event will be attended by His Excellency Colin Wells, the United Kingdom(UK) Ambassador to the Kingdom of eSwatini, Economic Planning and Development Minister Dr. Thambo Gina, Information Minister Savannah Maziya and UNESWA Vice Chancellor Professor Justice Tfwala.
The 2025 Human Development Report (HDR), titled “A Matter of Choice: People and Possibilities in the Age of AI”, was officially launched on 06 May 2025 in Brussels and, following the global launch, countries are hosting national launches to unpack the report’s findings and engage national stakeholders.
But in this context, Eswatini will hold its national launch to foster dialogue on human development and encourage the continued engagement of all stakeholders in the country’s development process.
