MBABANE:Zephaniah Nkambule,the former Mbabane Mayor might soon be arrested for engaging in alleged fraudulent selling of land at Mahwalala-Mbabane.
It has been disclosed that, Nkambule allegedly colluded with Councillor Simangaliso Gama and other current Mbabane Councillors in the alleged illegal selling of the land.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Tuesday, Make Diana Ntombizodwa Mnisi confirmed that, she was defrauded by the former Mayor and current Councillor Simangaliso Gama.
“They took my R100,000.00 by facilitating the sale of land that was already sold, they were pretending to be assisting the owner Hlengiwe to sell the land to me and took my money. So yesterday I was in court regarding the same matter, I want my money back and the court ordered that, I must be paid in installments of R10,000.00”, she said.
Zaphaniah Nkambule, the former Mbabane Mayor avoided to respond to questions on the subject matter while efforts to reach Councillor Simangaliso Gama proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
Indeed, the matter was in court on Monday, Nkambule might face arrest after defrauding other emaSwati promising them land in Mbabane.
