MBABANE:Prince Lindani,the appointed Member of Parliament(MP) has applauded King Mswati for maintaining diplomatic relations with Taiwan.
Speaking in Parliament on Tuesday when supporting the R5.2billion Strategic Oil Reserve Project, the MP said Taiwan remains a loyal diplomatic partner who assisted the country in many ways.
“Taiwan remains our loyal diplomatic partner who assisted our country in many ways”, said the MP.
The project was also supported by Nomalungelo LaZwide Simelane, the Siphofaneni Member of Parliament.
But the King’s son subsequently held a secret meeting with the Siphofaneni MP to thank her for supporting the project and this, comes after LaZwide expressed full support for the project when addressing MPs on Tuesday inside Parliament.
