King Mswati’s newly opened Magomba Coal Mine not paying suppliers, operations to be stopped by protesting sub-contractors.

MPAKA:King Mswati’s newly opened Magomba Coal Mine is allegedly failing to pay suppliers and sub-contractors.

As a result, the sub-contractors told this Swaziland News on Wednesday that, they have given the company until Monday to pay otherwise, operations will be halted.

“On Monday we might halt operations if they don’t pay”, said a businessman who attended a meeting inside the Coal Mine where suppliers discussed a way forward.

Efforts to reach the Management for a comment proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.

The Magomba Mine was recently opened by Mswati, the King owns shares.
