MBABANE:Judge Titus Mlangeni has sentenced the President of the Law Society of Eswatini(LSE) Mangaliso Magagula to four(4)months without an option of a fine.
The lawyer was charged for contempt of court after being accused by the Judge of labeling court proceedings, a secret meeting in the matter between Ncamase Investments(Pty) Ltd and Galp Eswatini.
The President of the Law Society was representing Matsapha Big Tree Galp(Ncamase Investments) in the legal battle with Galp Eswatini and the matter resulted to both the client his lawyer convicted for contempt of court as Judge Mlangeni accused Magagula and businessman Issufo Calu of undermining the authority of the court.
The President of the Law Society was sentenced on Thursday morning and is highly expected to mitigate and subsequently file an appeal.
